John 15: 1-8

I am the true vine.  There are a lot of vines but only one true vine.  That is Jesus Christ.  We as Christians should bear fruit.  Not by our own doing but by the will and power of the Holy Spirit    Verse 4 : abide in me and I in you   What a great Invitation the word abide has many meanings but one I like is "to sink deeper".  We need to sink deeper in the Lord.   If God is not everything to you than let Him abide in you and you in Him.   God bless you all.

We should start the new year with a determined effort to know Jesus better this coming year , than last year. 

Verse 13.” Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,”

Whenever you struggle go to the word of God. Understand his presence.  Really get to know him. 

Chocolate cake may look good, but you will never know how good until you get a slice, and taste it.

We will never know how good God is until we taste of Him and his presence.

Also with the new year let bitterness in your life be taken away.  Solomon 5 times in a prayer said, “Lord forgive” . He was always asking for forgiveness. 

Ask for forgiveness and ask the Lord to take away the bitterness  in your life.
